Recent happenings as of 6/7/24:
- Please congratulate and welcome newly elected Lone Tree Golf & Event Center Board Member Brian Land.
- Brian recently retired from a long and successful career with the California Highway Patrol and was an Economics Major at Cal State Hayward. For the CHP Brian played many roles at the administration level including Investigation Team Leader, managing employees, managing budgets for personnel, equipment, and operations. Brian supports our facility on a daily basis either golfing, dining, or participating in events that benefit our community so please stop and shake his hand and give him a congratulations on his nomination. He is a friendly individual, good listener, and we are excited to have him add to our business team and oversight.
- Aerification:
- We will be doing our annual greens aerification on Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25. Golfers on each of these days will have to play the same nine holes twice to geth their 18 holes in.
- Aerification is an important practice that has many benefits including:
- removes layers of compaction and sedimentation
- opens up the soil and gets "air" in which is good for the root development
- helps the water filter through the soil effectively and drain correctly
- adds sand to the profile which also is positve for the plant
- Fitting Days
- Mizuno, June 21st
- Taylormade, July 13
- signups soon to come on this website event calendar
- Course projects
- Hole #9 Bunker renovation continuues (an extended project)
- Hole #12 repairing cart path "buckle" where the drainage ditch crosses fairway; this will help water drain in area during winter.
